We have produced a few short films over the years and we have many more in the pipeline. Here are two of our favourites.
Dumb Little Country Boy was taken from a stage play "One Knight" written by Simon Francis and stars Ben Shockley and Henry Dunn. The challenge was to turn a play into a 17 minute film. The film was shot in Clarkenwell in east London in the studios where Simon had recently edited the Children's animation series Molly's Gang. The cameraman of that series, Pete Ellmore, also shot Dumb Little Country Boy. It was filmed on mini DV over a weekend.
This tense and atmospheric short film was made in 1993. It was shot on grainy black & white Super 8mm film and filmed in a stairwell on Dean Street, in the heart of Soho, London. Despite only being around 6 minutes long, it took three weeks to shoot and about eight weeks to edit.
